Works collaboratively across the agency and within the Dentsu business to ensure clients receive the best integrated public relations and communications solutions for their business.

We are now excited to invite applications for the role of Account Director - Community Stakeholder Engagement with our high-performing t eam in Melbourne.
The role:
As the Community & Stakeholder Engagement Director, you will lead community and Stakeholder Engagement activity for our current client portfolio, with a focus on infrastructure and be a key driver in growing this area of our business.
You will be the owner and champion of strategies and theories on how to create a social licence for ideas, regulation, change, technology and infrastructure and share your knowledge across the wider business.
Core responsibilities :
Lead the development and implementation of strategies to engage and communicate with key stakeholders and communities
Lead a portfolio of clients in all day-to-day management, including key strategic counsel
Work hand in hand with the Head of Government and NFP and Chief of Public Relations, to drive new business development for the business
Be a champion of theory, technology and technique to engage constructively with communities and stakeholders
Prepare and deliver communications to maintain the project's reputation and promote project deliverables and objectives
Responsible for ensuring the profitability and growth of client accounts
Responsible for tenders and driving new business opportunities
A bit about you :
A minimum of 8 years+ experience working in community and Stakeholder Engagement, ideally with a big infrastructure project or Government experience
Strong connections in Australian business, Government, media, universities and the organisations' servicing big infrastructure or energy projects
Extensive experience working within a consultancy environment
Experience in all aspects of communications, working at all levels of seniority, spanning from senior client counsel, crisis management through to all aspects of project communications
Proven experience in leading and converting new business pitches plus the appetite to have this as a key part of your role at DCPR
