Help Brightcove achieve breakout growth! We are searching for a talented Account Director with SaaS sales experience to join our growing Account Management team in Australia. This person must have a proven track record for delivering on or exceeding revenue goals and take pride in getting it done.
Job Responsibilities
- Develop an in-depth understanding of the customer's business, challenges, and requirements and explain how the Brightcove platform could benefit them.
- Build relationships with customers to encourage new and repeat business.
- Work with project champions at clients and within the organization to make sure needs are met. Interact both internally with the product team, and professional services and externally with customers.
- Manage existing clients including analyzing monthly usage etc.
- Negotiate contract renewals and upsell/add-on opportunities
- Recruit new partners and conduct promotional activity
Qualifications/Experience
- 8+ years of Account Management experience selling SaaS/Software/Services
- Track record of meeting or exceeding revenue targets, currently in a quota carrying role in a plus
- Direct experience with video streaming or media use cases is highly desired
- Demonstrated ability to multi-task across a wide range of accounts
- Demonstrated ability to present to technical and non-technical audiences and be able to effectively address objections
- An ability to listen to customer needs, evaluate these needs and address them through new products and services
- High level of comfort and experience working with all levels of professionals both internally and externally
- Proven ability to operate effectively and proactively in a fast-paced environment where cross-functional teamwork is a must
- Experience developing and presenting technical solutions
- Highly self-motivated, extremely organized, team-oriented
- Outstanding communication and negotiating skills
