Optimised to measure even the most advanced modern connections, Speedtest provides transparent insight into the factors that most impact connected experiences including bandwidth, latency, coverage, video metrics, and more.Job Summary:Reporting to the National Sales Director, the Account Executive is responsible for increasing advertising sales revenue for the Ziff Davis portfolio of sites from your knowledge of agency groups and direct clients. The role focuses on growing year over year commitment of repeat partners and searching for new business. The role will involve developing sales strategies, creating sponsorship packages, delivering client pitches and ensuring delivery is of the highest possible standard.Ziff Davis' Australia team is made up of all kinds of people that share a common love of games, TV, movies, comics, tech, and all things geeky. We strongly encourage people of every race, gender, sexual orientation, and background to apply.Responsibilities:Develop valuable relationships with media agencies, trading desks and direct clientsDevelop initiatives for current non-spendersBuild new non-traditional products and relationship-based initiatives that generate revenue outside of the standard media executionsMaintain a functional level of programmatic knowledge to uncover and convert programmatic revenue opportunitiesReview monthly and quarterly revenue performance to budget and provide insight, commentary and action plans to ensure budgets ar exceededUse internal analytics tools to provide clients with progress and end-of-campaign reportsProvide insight and vision around current and future market conditions and how this may impact businessMaintain in-depth knowledge of the clients that you are responsible for including their product release schedule and briefing cycleStay up-to-date with news and current trends in the media industry that will affect our day-to-dayHave a clearly defined client and agency action plan to deliver increased revenue and brands not carried to the businessExperience/Skill Requirements:Established history and knowledge of working in the digital media, marketing and advertising industrySales or account management experience preferredAgency and client relationships in the Australian media marketExperience in budgeting and revenue forecastsConsistent track record in setting and achieving business and personal goalsExperience in sales, research, analytics and ad-serving systems such as AdManager 360, Salesforce, Google Analytics, Nielsen, and TrelloStrategic and quantitative skillsGood communication skills, both written and verbalIntermediate to advanced skills in, PowerPoint, Excel and PhotoshopOur Culture and ValuesAt Ziff Davis Australia, we believe diversity stimulates creativity, promotes the exchange of new ideas, and enriches our personal and professional lives.
