The Role
Our client is seeking a results driven Account Manager to join the team ASAP. Manage and grow an established portfolio of retail clients within the hardware/power tool sector. You will partner and manage a portfolio of client both new and existing. Your client portfolio will be broad and will span across both Sydney metro and regional NSW. Your core duties will include;
- Achieve sales and growth targets for your portfolio/territory
- Drive the brand and build market share
- Development and execution of strategic plans
- Implementation of Sales & Marketing promotional programs
- Developing new business through cold calling and demo's to promote growth of your portfolio.
- Previous experience as a BDM, Sale Manager, Account Manager or Territory manager within the wholesale hardware/tool or landscaping sector
- Knowledge of Power Tools, Hardware or Gardening space
- Previous sales experience - Ability to generate leads
- Driven and results focused
- Strong relationship management skills
- Full Drivers license
