The Account Manager reports to the State Sales Manager and is responsible for building and maintaining a client base in the food and beverage industry within an assigned territory.
You will be responsible for driving sales growth by building strong relationships with your knowledge across the range of market leading brands and products.Key Responsibilities
- Establish, develop and maintain business relationships with current and prospective clients to generate growth;
- Provide professional and efficient customer service addressing their needs and exceeding their expectations;
- Develop clear and effective proposals/quotations for current and prospective clients;
- Manage existing clients addressing value opportunities;
- Plan and organise personal sales strategy; and
- Research into product applications, technical services, market conditions, competitive activities, advertising, and promotional trends.
- Driven by growing sales and exceeding sales targets.
