An exciting opportunity to be a part of our thriving and successful international company exists in our Kiama branch for a highly motivated, enthusiastic and experienced Account Manager (sales representative).
Your Role
Your role as an Account Manager is to identify and develop business from new and existing customers and present new products and services to clients. You will be liaising between your branch and customers to address any customer needs, concerns and to develop and maintain strong customer relationships. You will be responsible for ensuring your achievement of set sales targets, KPI’s and total customer satisfaction.
Being an integral part of the sales team, you will propose solutions to further grow and upsell products. Your involvement in the creation of sales proposals/tenders and coordination of product and service presentations will enable you to build professional relationships with customers. When customer grievances arise, you will use your customer service and problem solving skills to resolve issues. As a whole, you will reflect the customer service values of Big River Group and strive to provide customers quality service and sustain customer satisfaction.
What you’ll need
- Previous experience and proven track record in a sales position
- Tertiary qualification in Marketing, Business or Commerce advantageous but not essential
- Current valid drivers license
- Exceptional communication and professional presentation skills
- Skilled negotiation abilities and ability to manage customer contracts
- Excellent time management and organizational skills
- Ability to work independently and as a team
- Strong leadership skills
- Proactive in managing customer expectations, queries and providing timely responses
- Consistency in achieving KPI’s and sales targets
- Ability to plan, forecast and grow using innovative ideas
- Knowledge of the industry, including health and safety regulations
