We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Account Manager to join our Sydney team. This role is pivotal in building and nurturing long-term relationships with our clients, understanding their needs, and delivering tailored cybersecurity solutions. The Account Manager will be responsible for overseeing a portfolio of assigned clients, developing new business from existing clients, and actively seeking new sales opportunities.
Responsibilities
- Client Relationship Management: Develop and maintain strong, long-lasting client relationships. Act as the main point of contact and manage clients' needs to ensure their satisfaction.
- Sales Targets: Achieve and exceed sales targets through the successful management of assigned accounts and by identifying growth opportunities within existing client bases.
- Solution Selling: Understand the specific challenges and requirements of clients to propose appropriate solutions that meet their cybersecurity needs.
- Collaboration: Work closely with the sales team to identify potential new clients and with the technical team to ensure the successful delivery of services.
- Market Awareness: Stay up-to-date with industry trends, developments, and competitive landscape to enhance sales strategies and company offerings.
- Reporting: Provide regular reports on account status, sales progress, and any significant developments to the senior management team.
Requirements
- Proven work experience as an Account Manager, Key Account Manager, Sales Account Manager, or relevant role in the cybersecurity or technology sector.
- Demonstrated ability to communicate, present, and influence key stakeholders at all levels of an organization, including executive and C-level.
- Solid experience with CRM software and MS Office.
Understanding of cybersecurity products and services is highly preferred. - Excellent listening, negotiation, and presentation abilities.
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
