Account Manager - Exhibitions And Events/Retail Industry

At Project Station, we have the privilege of working with some of the most iconic brands and businesses in Australia. We are a collaboration of Retail Popup and set builders, exhibition stand builders, exhibition stand designers, shop fitters, carpenters, cabinet makers & installers. Project Station is part of the Dashing Group.

Project Station is currently seeking an exceptional Account Manager (5 days, 40 hours per week), looking for a dynamic and diverse role to join our team, reporting directly to the General Manager. Project Station has a casual yet professional environment.

In this role, you will be responsible for supporting the General Manager with sales projects and orders. You will be comfortable managing multiple projects at the same time and be able to communicate clearly and effectively with clients and suppliers; being upbeat, positive and innovative.

You will be willing to put in the hard work achieving exceptional results for clients, whilst also being able to maintain a happy work-life balance

ABOUT YOU

• Previous experience in an Account Manager role
• Excellent communication skills
• Able to deal with clients and suppliers in a professional manner
• Able to complete tasks in a timely manner
• Great attention to detail and accuracy
• Able to prioritise tasks and work under pressure
• Able to communicate well and work closely within a team environment

ABOUT THE ROLE
 

• Providing support to assigned customers.
• Build strong client relationships, through regular communication.
• Making sure clients needs are met and any questions answered.
• Resolving any challenges.
• Understanding the clients budgets and negotiating costs.
• Help identify new sales leads.
• Procurement – sourcing, getting quotes and ordering a wide range of materials (maximizing value whilst sticking to strict budgets).
• Negotiate and develop relations with suppliers.
• Manage aspects of onsite event logistics, including bump-in, production and bump-out. As well as booking loading docks, forklifts, transport and other necessary services.
• Identifying new industry trends.
