Who are we partnering with?

u&u is partnering with a well-known Insurance Brokerage specialising in commercial, corporate, SME and retail insurance. Located on the city skirt, 5 minutes away from Parliament station. This is a permanent position that will be fully based in the office.

What are the key duties?

To support the Director of the business with the management of his portfolio that includes but is not limited to all facets of insurance broking from renewals, endorsements, new business, claims management, account remarketing, and report management.

• Gather uninsured risks, negotiate terms, issue policy documents, invoices, payment options and premiums;
• Act on behalf of the client in the settlement of a claim;
• Build strong client relationships, sell products and policies, liaise with underwriters;
• Travel Program - Assisting with all telephone enquiries and manage inbox;
• New Clients -Proposals, invoices, endorsements/policy schedule and Accident & Illness benefits;
• Reporting (tracking spreadsheets etc); and
• File management.

Experience that would set you up for success:

• Minimum 3 years of previous experience as an Insurance Account Executive;
• Exposure to Insight, Sunrise, SVU and other Broking tools;
• Completion of Tier 2 (minimum);
• Very strong understanding of a broad range of insurance products;
• Ability to adapt easily, and a willingness to learn;
• Very well presentable, approachable, and quick rapport builder; and
• Diligent, highly motivated, and a team player.
