ORIGO Education, an award winning and globally recognised leader in mathematics primary school education, is seeking an Account Executive/ Resource Adviser with experience or interest in primary education. ORIGO has been providing innovative and meaningful resources for teachers and students for over 25 years.
The successful candidate for this position will have the opportunity to join a dynamic team and work with schools and affiliated education associations to bring ORIGO’s solutions to educators and students Australia wide. ORIGO Education products support primary education teachers across 14 countries, including the USA, Canada, Singapore, Australia, and Thailand.
THE OPPORTUNITY
Reporting directly to the Australian Sales Manager, your new role will focus on retaining and growing the NSW/ ACT customer base. You will work autonomously from home and visit NSW and ACT schools to create new business opportunities and provide an ORIGO solution.
Some of the key responsibilities will include, but not limited to:
• Maintain and build new relationships with schools and education associations.
• Develop and execute territory business plan to meet and exceed sales targets.
• Manage the full sales cycle from prospecting to closing opportunities.
• Conduct product presentations and demonstrations both face to face and virtual.
• Attend conferences and events to represent ORIGO Education and promote its solutions.
• Work collaboratively with the team to improve sales and marketing strategies.
WHAT YOU WILL BRING TO THE ROLE
You will be a self-starter who can work independently. Your positive ‘can do’ attitude and a desire to achieve will drive your success in this role. You will also have a passion for education and/or mathematics and how mathematics is taught in primary schools.
Requirements:
• A solid demonstrated Sales/Business Development experience preferably from an education, RTO, publishing or related field.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Strong presentation and negotiation skills.
• Experience with CRM software.
• Demonstrated ability to meet and exceed sales targets.
• Ability to travel within NSW and ACT. A clean valid drivers’ license is a must.
