We're expanding our dynamic team and are in search of an Account Manager to help fuel our growth within Australia's rapidly evolving 4th Party Logistics (4PL) sector. This role offers the chance to engage with one of the fastest-growing categories in Australian logistics, providing substantial opportunities for career advancement.
Role Overview:
As an Account Manager reporting directly to the Head of Customer Success, you'll leverage your experience in account and contract management within the logistics sector to drive retention and growth strategies. Your expertise in freight operations, analytical skills, and superior communication abilities will play a critical role in strengthening our customer relationships.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with the Head of Customer Success to manage and grow customer accounts, achieving financial targets and key performance indicators.
- Foster relationships with stakeholders at all levels within the customer's organisation.
- Identify and capitalise on business expansion opportunities within our existing client base.
- Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance service levels and efficiency.
- Conduct performance reviews, providing key metric analysis and reporting to customers.
- Address operational escalations and support day-to-day operations.
Candidate Profile:
- Minimum two years in a customer-facing role within a freight/logistics or 4PL environment.
- In-depth understanding of the commercial and operational aspects of the Australian freight and logistics sector.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) with excellent analytical and reporting skills.
- A proactive problem-solver who thrives in a fast-paced setting.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with a knack for simplifying complex data.
- Flexible team player eager to support across functions and contribute to a positive workplace culture.
