About the Role:
Reporting to the Accounts Receivable & Payable Manager, the key responsibility of the role will be to work with a team and conduct high volume collections and end-to-end processing of Accounts Receivable. This is a full-time, permanent position.
Key Responsibilities:
- Accurate accounts receivable and customer record keeping
- Debt collection by communicating with customers via phone & email to recover overdue accounts
- Generate reminder notices and collection letters
- Monitor customer account details for non-payments, delayed payments and other irregularities
- Investigate and resolve customer queries
- Ad hoc account receivable tasks
About You:
- Experience in high volume Collections role
- Previous experience in end-to-end accounts receivable
- Meticulous attention to detail with the ability to quickly identify discrepancies.
- Ability to manage conflicting priorities, meet deadlines, and exercise sound judgement under pressure
- Confident communication style (verbal and written) with the ability to liaise with diverse stakeholders at all levels
- Able to commit to a regular, full-time work schedule
- Intermediate or Proficient application skills across the entire Microsoft Office Suite
- Works well within a team and assists in balancing work load
- Experience with accounting systems
- Proven resilience and time management in day-to-day debt collection
- Ability to prioritize and take responsibility to meet conflicting deadlines under pressure
- Flexibility and ability to manage competing priorities and deliver outcomes in a dynamic environment.
- High levels of initiative, curiosity, and display of a positive “can-do” attitude
- Strong relationship building and interpersonal skills
