As a progressive business, we are looking for an Accountant to join our Finance team based in our Mackay office.  We are on a mission to engage an Accountant that sees their job as more than managing the numbers.  The role is hands on therefore its anticipated that you will roll up your sleeves and hit the ground running.

Reporting to the General Manager, functions of the role include but are not limited to:

• Entity transactions and reconciliations
• Monthly financial budgets and reporting
• Management of accounts
• Preparation and analysis of monthly profit and loss, and balance sheet reports
• Month end processes
• Journals - general, asset and WIP

The successful candidate should:

• Be degree qualified with 5 years experience
• Able to competently work with accounting packages
• Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite principally Excel
• Excellent attention to detail
• Have the ability to multi-task and meet deadlines
• Have a strong work ethic and be motivated to follow through to get the job done
• Have the ability to build good relationships
