Accountant

An excellent opportunity is available for an experienced Accountant to join our team. This is a support role assisting the Financial Controller. The successful candidate will primarily be responsible for providing accurate financial data and reporting to the Company, through the preparation and analysis of monthly management accounts.

How you will make an impact:

• Assisting the Financial Controller in month-end and year-end reporting
• Toyota reporting (TIPS)
• Balance sheet reconciliations
• Processing floorplan payouts, factory claim payments and charges
• GL postings for accruals, provision adjustments etc
• Reviewing expenses
• Vehicle stock-takes
• Inter-company invoicing and reconciliations
• Assisting in the annual financial audit
• Working towards tight end of month deadlines
• Providing support and backup to other Accounts team members during busy periods or in times of absence

What we’re looking for: 

• Tertiary qualification in Accounting
• 3-5 years relevant experience in a similar capacity
• Advanced Excel skills
• Strong organisational and time management skills
• Good communication skills
• Ability to work in a team environment or independently
• High attention to detail
