Accountant

Accountant - Permanent Part-time

We are seeking an experienced Accountant to help manage and oversee the accounting function for the Pendulum Group of companies and a variety of owned and operated enterprises across a range of industries including the exciting wine and hospitality sectors.

This position, based in our corporate West Perth office, will be 4 days per week but we are happy to consider flexibility for days and hours worked.

Skills & Experience

• Seeking an accountant, with a minimum of 3 years' experience in a similar role
• Formal qualification in accounting and/or finance 
• Advanced knowledge and experience with Xero and MYOB
• Strong Microsoft Office skills
• Professional attitude with exceptional attention to detail
• Clear and fluent communication skills
• Ability to work autonomously and as part of the team 
• Ability to communicate with key stakeholders across the business.

Duties & Responsibilities

• Accounts payable/accounts receivable
• Bank reconciliations and supporting treasury functions
• Data entry
• Payroll processing
• BAS/IAS, superannuation and other regulatory lodgements
• Timely completion of month-end closing process
• Monthly reporting and cash flow forecasts
• Balance sheet reconciliations and inter-entity recharge of incurred costs
• Assist with annual audits or external tax functions 
• Working with the Directors to support the finance and corporate administration functions of the Group.
