Accountant

We are seeking a qualified and experienced accountant to work for us. You are expected to provide accounting service to our company.

What we expect you to do:

·         Participating in monthly, quarterly, and yearly compliance reporting processes (i.e., BAS, TAX Returns) ensuring comply with the standards set by the head office.

·         Preparing financial analysis spreadsheets and reports and providing advice to the management on business plans, operations, and taxation.

·         Preparing forecasts on revenue and expenditure and recommending appropriate budget levels, ensuring alignment with the overall strategic goals and financial plans of the head office.

·         Compiling and analysing financial data and preparing asset, liability, and capital account entries.

·         Examining incomes and operational expenditures against budget to determine the company’s financial performance.

·         Examining financial information to ensure accuracy and resolving discrepancies where required, assisting the head office by providing relevant financial information and documents.

·         Coordinating with external parties in taxation and auditing matters.

·         Establishing and maintaining financial databases and accounting systems, ensuring the adoption of consistent accounting policies and processes with the head office.

Required Experience, Skills and Qualification:

·         Bachelor’s degree or above in accounting

·         At least 3 years’ experience as an accountant

·         Excellent communication skills

·         Proficiency in accounting systems

·         Up-to-date knowledge about Australian taxation law and financial reporting requirements

·         Good understanding of business operations and accounting activities

·         Attention to details

·         Good time management skills

·         Systematic and critical thinking skills
