About the Role:

As an Accountant in the Business Advisory team, you'll play a pivotal role in delivering high-quality business services and tax advice to a diverse clientele. From preparing financial statements to conducting tax research, you'll be at the forefront of helping businesses thrive. Reporting to experienced supervisors and directors, you'll have ample opportunities for growth and development.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare financial statements, income tax returns and reports for various entities.
• Conduct tax research and administer general tax tasks.
• Service a diverse client base, resolving issues and addressing client needs.
• Mentor and support less experienced team members.
• Contribute to continuous improvement and professional development activities.

About You:

To thrive in this role, you'll need:

• Qualifications in Business/Commerce with an Accounting major.
• CA or CPA qualification achieved or progressing.
• Proven experience in tax and Business Advisory within public practice.
• Client- focused attitude and commitment to becoming a trusted advisor.
• Comprehensive knowledge of technical accounting concepts and standards
• Previous experience with computerised accounting systems e.g. APS, MYOB
• Excellent prioritisation and time management, attention to detail and communication skills.
