This organisation has low staff turnover and this position has only arisen due to the interstate move of one of the Accounts Receivable team.
Your responsibilities
Working as part of a small team, you will contribute to the daily management of the Accounts Receivable activity including ensuring the timely collection of outstandings. Responsibilities include;
- Manage high volume ledger of 1500+ accounts for Australia & New Zealand
- Debtor enquiries
- Account Reconciliation
- Allocating daily payments
- Customer Statements
- Credit checks
- Debt collection calls to ensure DSO’s are improved or sustained
- Investigating discrepancies
- Aged debtor reporting
- Administration of customer rebates

Your background

The Accounts Receivable function within this business does have a level of complexity and therefore we are seeking a person with strong follow through and attention to detail in addition to excellent communication and customer service skills. With a wide mix of customers, your customer service skills managing account queries and collections will be fully utilised to maintain customer relations. In addition, you will possess the following skills and experience;
- Previous Accounts Receivable and collections experience
- Experience in high-volume environment preferred
- Intermediate MS Excel skills essential
- Experience in large ERP system such as SAP highly regarded
- Work collaboratively in a team to problem solve and develop solutions
- Ability to self-motivate and work off own initiative
- Positive ‘can do’ attitude
- Excellent communication skills
