AddressOur company, KST Partners Pty Ltd, is a professional accounting firm that is located in Melbourne CBD. We provide audit and accounting services and advice to individual clients and a diversity of business communities, especially the growing Asian business community. We are looking for a full-time accountant to join our firm.
Your responsibilities will include:
· Advise clients of their statutory duties.
· Advise clients on financial and taxation issues on business structures, plans and operations.
· Assist clients to prepare financial statements, financial reports, budgets, financial forecasts and ad-hoc financial reports.
· Check and verify accuracy of the information provided by clients.
· Advise clients the accuracy of the information in their financial reports.
· Assist clients to prepare and lodge BAS/GST and tax returns.
· Liaison with clients to prepare and lodge taxation returns to ATO.
· Liaison with ATO regarding clients’ compliance of their statutory duties.
· Advise clients how to set up and maintain business accounting systems.
· Appraise cash flow and financial risks of capital investment project for clients.
Skills and experience
· Must have at least an accounting degree that is equivalent to the Australian standard.
· Must have minimum 3 years’ relevant work experience
· Must have full work right in Australia
· Preferably have Mandarin as a second language
· Attention to detail is critical
· Ability to work autonomously and to tight deadlines
· Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to work with multiple stakeholders in a confident, respectful and professional manner
· Strong communication skills both verbal and written
· A positive attitude, willingness to learn and always ready to take on more
