Accountant - Property

The client we are working with is a property company that is expanding, and they are searching for an accountant to join their team. This position offers an exciting opportunity to participate in new projects and excellent career advancement.

A candidate who has two to three years of experience working in business services, extensive understanding of general accounting, expertise in financial reporting, and an enthusiastic attitude would be an excellent fit for this post.
You will be needed to examine the integrity of information from the company, provide financial reports that are correct and delivered on time, and collaborate with the senior accountant. You will need to have a wide range of accounting abilities.
  
Key Responsibilities include:

• Carry out month-end close procedures including preparation of account reconciliations & financials, posting of journal entries, and organizing supporting documents
• General accounting duties
• Manage projects and with JV needs
• Ensure that monthly reconciliation processes are completed accounting completed
• Work through year end audit process

Candidates of interest will be able to demonstrate previous experience with  accounting, preparation of financial statements and business improvement processes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Commerce (Accounting & Finance) from an accredited institution and working towards CPA/CA
• Three or more years of experience in similar roles
• Positive attitude
• Interest in property industry
