The Opportunity:
A rare permanent part-time opportunity has become available for a Senior Accountant in our client's Tax and Business Services team.
The role's key responsibilities will include:
- Managing a portfolio of SME clients.
- Being the first point of contact for clients.
- Review of financial statements and income tax returns for a wide variety of clients across different structures including partnerships, trusts, companies and SMSF’s.
- Initial preparation of tax advice to clients involving tax treatment and GST allocation of various transactions / business ventures.
- Overseeing the preparation and review of financial statements, tax returns, and other financial reports.
- Ensuring compliance with accounting standards and regulatory requirements.
You will work 4-5 hours per day, across five (5) days per week (Mon to Fri), with some flexibility available to ensure a suitable work/life balance.
About You:
- Full working rights within Australia.
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting.
- Chartered Accountants ANZ (CAANZ) or equivalent certification.
- Minimum 3 years of experience within a similar position.
