We are seeking a full time Accounting & Administration Assistant
Key Responsibilities:
- Carry out Account Receivable and Accounts Payable tasks such as:
- Invoice clients
- Process client payments
- Process supplier payments
- Run fortnightly payroll, submit monthly PAYG and quarterly superannuation payments on a need basis
- Carry out month end tasks and reporting
- Support in the compilation of BAS
- Contact clients, answer phone calls and address client inquires.
You will have:
- Education: HSC and Tertiary education in Business and/or Accounting disciplines required.
- Technical Skills: Accounting/Bookkeeping experience is required. Experience using MYOB Accounting software
- Industry experience: A minimum of 1 year of theoretical and/or practical or a combination of both in Administration or Accounting affiliated roles.
- Management skills: Good time management skills.
- Personal qualities: Work must be of the highest quality and attention to detail is paramount. Honesty, trustworthiness, dedication, reliability and the ability to work both autonomously and also in a small team environment is key.
- Technology skills: Microsoft Excel, Word and Outlook.
- Language skills: A good command of English is essential.
- Communication skills: Good communication skills (both written and verbal) are essential as this position engages external clients, suppliers and employees.
- Work Rights: Must be able to provide ongoing work in Australia.
