Ark Industrial Pty Ltd is a commercial & industrial construction company based in Melbourne. Our diverse project portfolio includes construction and development of shopping precincts, multi-goods warehouses, logistics infrastructure, fuel stations and office buildings.
Most of our projects are based in west of Melbourne, with some interstate projects.

ARK is looking for an Accounting Clerk who will be responsible for assisting the accounts department with the day-to-day business outcomes.
Daily tasks may include:
- Accurately process outgoing payments in compliance with financial policies and procedures.
- Reconcile the accounts payable ledger to ensure that all payments are accounted for and properly posted.
- Payment of invoices due.
- Cross-checking of purchase agreements and purchase orders against payable invoices
- Job costing and cash flow tasks
- Preparation of year end financials; substantiated by working papers
- Loan reconciliations, bank and credit card reconciliations.
Essential skills and qualifications :
- Completion of a bachelor’s in accounting and 3+ years’ experience in a similar role
- Excellent understanding of Australian Tax laws and Accounting principles, standards and statutory requirements
- High level interpersonal skills together with excellent written and verbal communication and organisational skills and the ability to liaise with people at all levels, internal and external to the Institution.
- High attention to detail
- Problem solving ability and analytical mindset
- Expertise in MYOB & Xero; MS Word, Databases, Excel, web, Email, general office software. Accurate and prompt data entry.
- Microsoft Office Skills
- Ability to problem solve, work well under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
