The Edwards Saddleworld Accounts administration and customer service role is unique in that every member of the Edwards team is a knowledgeable horse person and can work in their field while also performing customer service roles (natures of the business is that customers walking through the doors need to be served and phones need to be answered). We are looking for somebody to help us with the following:
Working with our book keeper to manage when supplier invoices are due (filling them accordingly and in a timely manor)
working with our book keeper to supply or adjust information for the accounts to run smoothly
Managing our end of month accounts payable
Receipting stock coming into the store (we have a long term team member who also does a lot of this)
Managing supplier returns
Managing over seas stock entry
Managing stock receivable discrepancies
Assisting with stock taking if required
Assisting with customer service
Assisting with answering the phone
Using our Point of Sale and eftpos machines to serve customers
Printing Pricing for the team and managing customer special order cards
Reconciling our humm, afterpay and zip pay payments
Working one weekend a month for front of shop customer service
Assisting our team if we are short staffed with general shop duties
Managing our work shop made supplies
available 8:30- 1:30 Mon- Fri
one Saturday a month 8- 3:30
one Sunday a month (same weekend as Saturday) 10-2
We are a young, enthusiastic team, looking for a team member who has attention to detail, is experienced in excel, problem solving, retail experience, is knowledgable in horses and is a team player.
