We are seeking an experienced accounts and administrative officer to join our successful, locally owned organisation specialising in creative events production.
We are looking for someone who is a team player with a can-do attitude. This role has plenty of variety, covering all facets of accounts and administration functions. You must be able to multi-task, be highly organised and comfortable working in a fast-paced workplace.
Ideally you are looking for a full-time position, but flexible working hours can be negotiated for the right candidate.
The main focus of this role will be:
- Preparation and processing of debtor invoices
- Verifying and processing of supplier invoices
- Reviewing and following up on overdue Accounts Receivable
- Reconciliation of bank and credit card accounts
- Maintenance of customer and supplier data base management
- Responding and resolving of accounts enquiries
- Filing and archiving
- Answering and directing incoming calls
- Welcoming and directing visitors
- Managing stationery and office supplies
- Other duties as required
What you'll need to succeed
- Previous experience within a similar role
- Bookkeeping experience: 2 years (Preferred)
- MYOB: 2 years (Preferred)
- Quickbooks: 2 years (Preferred)
- Experience in Microsoft Office suite
- Good communication skills both verbal and written
- Excellent presentation with a professional and friendly disposition
- A team player with the ability to work well under pressure
- Ability to maintain a high standard of professionalism to both internal and external customers
