Accounts & Administration Officer - Ft Or Pt

We are seeking an experienced accounts and administrative officer to join our successful, locally owned organisation specialising in creative events production. 

We are looking for someone who is a team player with a can-do attitude. This role has plenty of variety, covering all facets of accounts and administration functions. You must be able to multi-task, be highly organised and comfortable working in a fast-paced workplace.

Ideally you are looking for a full-time position, but flexible working hours can be negotiated for the right candidate.

The main focus of this role will be:

• Preparation and processing of debtor invoices
• Verifying and processing of supplier invoices
• Reviewing and following up on overdue Accounts Receivable
• Reconciliation of bank and credit card accounts
• Maintenance of customer and supplier data base management
• Responding and resolving of accounts enquiries
• Filing and archiving
• Answering and directing incoming calls
• Welcoming and directing visitors
• Managing stationery and office supplies
• Other duties as required

What you'll need to succeed

• Previous experience within a similar role
• Bookkeeping experience: 2 years (Preferred)
• MYOB: 2 years (Preferred)
• Quickbooks: 2 years (Preferred)
• Experience in Microsoft Office suite
• Good communication skills both verbal and written
• Excellent presentation with a professional and friendly disposition
• A team player with the ability to work well under pressure
• Ability to maintain a high standard of professionalism to both internal and external customers
