About the role
Reporting to the Finance Manager as part of the accounts team you will be involved in the day to day running of Carer’s Network’s finance operations. Attention to detail ensuring accurate work delivery, along with meeting all deadlines is essential to succeed in this role.
Your responsibilities:
- Prepare the Home Care package monthly statements accurately and on time
- Maintain the company’s financial transactions including accounts receivable, accounts payable, invoicing, debt collection and bank account reconciliation
- Process payments and receipts in accordance with organisational procedures.
- As part of a team maintain all financial records
- Assist with the end-to-end payroll process which includes the payment of employee wages and expenses, submission of STP, reconciliation and payment of SGL and LSL Levy in a timely manner
- Ability to work independently and prioritise tasks
- Assist Finance Manager with ad-hoc projects as required
Your requirements:
- Minimum 2+ years’ experience in an accounts related role
- You are resourceful with a positive outlook and proactive mindset
- Experience with Aged Care and understanding of Home Care statements (desirable)
- Understanding of the SCHADS Award (desirable)
- Exceptional time management, organisational and problem-solving skills with high level of attention to detail and the ability to respond to the changing needs of the business to achieve key outcomes of the role
- Personal and data integrity and respect for confidential information
- Experience with Microsoft Office, Xero accounting package and Visual Care or similar payroll/rostering software packages (desirable)
- Intermediate Excel skills (desirable)
- NDIS Worker Screen Check
- Covid-19 Proof of Vaccination
