Accounts And Hr Management

An exciting opportunity has become available to join the team at Responsive Building, one of Queensland’s Premier Insurance Builders. This is a unique position that will cover Accounts/HR Management and will involve working full time Monday to Friday 8.30am – 5.00pm.

We are seeking an experienced Accounts/HR Manager that ideally has a working background within the insurance/construction industry, is highly motivated and has excellent attention to detail skills. As a successful applicant, you will have the chance to work in a friendly and supportive office environment and gain practical experience with a leading Insurance Building Service.

Responsibilities

• Accounts receivable and payable
• Data entry and syncing between client and job management systems
• Reconciliation of bank accounts
• Payroll including annual leave, timesheets etc
• Liaising with Bookkeeper and Accountant
• Onboarding of new employees and employment contracts
• Management of Company Policies and Procedures and documents etc
• Answer phone calls, management/action of emails
• Liaise with customers, contractors, insurance companies, internal and external stakeholders
• Some general office management duties

Qualifications/Skills

• Exceptional computer skills with previous Accounts AND HR Management experience a MUST
• Proficient in speed typing and Microsoft Office – Word, Excel, Outlook etc
• Experience with Xero
• Current Drivers Licence
• Insurance Industry knowledge/experience would be highly regarded 
• Ability to thrive in a fast paced environment, work autonomously and within a team
