The opportunity
We are looking for a Human Resources Manager to join our client in the mining industry, for a short-term contract. This is an On-site role, based in QLD (FIFO basis), with roster still to be determined. Travel and accommodation are covered.
What the role entails:
- Driving the recruitment and onboarding process
- HR management and administration
- Identifying and resolving employee relations issues
- Policy and procedure development
- Overseeing the support of our migrant workforce
- Assist in the development and delivery of employee engagement activities
What you will need:
- Human Resource degree qualification or equivalent
- Previous experience in a similar role
- Previous experience in the mining or heavy industry
- Good problem-solving skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication with the ability to build and maintain productive and positive working relationships at all levels of the organisation
