The Company
We are a privately owned, proudly Australian company specialising in the latest and most innovative surgical products for the medical and pharmaceutical fields. Established for over 30 years, we are a small cohesive team located in Glen Waverley and we’re looking for our next Office Manager to help take us into our next phase of growth.
The Role
As our Accounts and Office Manager, you’ll be the backbone of our team, managing the administrative processes, liaising with our customers, taking orders, assisting with basic Accounts and ensuring the smooth running of our office. This is a part-time role (approx. 25 hours per week) and we’re flexible on hours/days etc. Your typical duties will include:
- Answering phone calls and enquiries
- Preparing quotes for customers
- Customer sales and service
- General accounting tasks including issuing invoices and statements
- Ordering of stock and supplies
- Management of the database
- Basic bookkeeping including payroll, superannuation, and BAS
- Preparation of correspondence, reports, and spreadsheets
- Booking freight couriers
- Raising customer orders, purchase orders etc
- Engaging with customers
- Opportunity to perform some Marketing functions
Skills and Experience
You’ll need experience in basic accounts, clerical functions, Microsoft Office and payroll.
Familiarity with ‘Reckon’ would be advantageous, but not essential.
