FBM is a fast-growing service provider to the hospitality industry; we manage multiple sites across NSW and VIC, providing colleagues to hotels predominantly, who are engaged in a mostly housekeeping capacity.

What we are looking for:
Day to Day Accounts and Payroll Assistant
- Process bills for payment
- Process vendor invoices
- Maintain files and electronic records
- Perform administrative tasks as needed
- Update and maintain accounts database
- Track and resolve accounting problems and discrepancies as needed
- Preparation and processing fortnightly payroll
- Prepare and reconcile superannuation reporting and processing
- Preparation of termination pays
- Workcover payments
- Payroll tax lodgement
- Long Service Leave Contributions on quarterly basis
- Setting up new employees
- Month End processing
- Follow up timesheets for processing
- Collating and matching timesheets for processing
- Filing of employee documentation
Other Duties
- Comply with federal, state, and local legal requirements by studying existing and new legislation; enforcing adherence to requirements; advising management on needed actions.
- Maintain employee confidence and protects payroll operations by keeping information confidential.
- Maintain professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops; reviewing professional publications; establishing personal networks; participating in professional societies. Self monitor and action daily tasks within the required timeframe.
- Assist with creating a productive and collaborative work environment, within FBM and between departments.
- Pro-active in promoting Work Health and Safety (WHS) as well as undertaking environmentally friendly practices within the workplace. Ensure all employees are treated with equal respect regardless of their religious beliefs, sexuality, cultural background and gender.

Required
- Sound numeracy skills, attention to detail and processing accuracy
- Qualifications in business or accounting
- Proven ability to meet deadlines, manage priorities, identify and deal with internal issues
- Intermediate-Advanced Excel skills
- Highly developed interpersonal skills with excellent understanding of the English language
- Excellent time management skills with a customer service focus and sense of urgency
- 1 year experience in end to end payroll processing preferred
