We are currently seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Administration Assistant to join our finance team on a part-time basis with flexible hours. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in accounting, exceptional organisational skills, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment. You will be responsible for assisting in various administrative tasks including but not limited to accounts payable, payroll, human resources, general administration and ensuring accurate and timely processing of accounts payable invoices. This role is crucial in maintaining our company's operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Process accounts payable invoices accurately and in a timely manner.
- Reconcile supplier statements and resolve discrepancies.
- Assist in the administration of day-to-day office tasks, including managing correspondence and answering phones.
- Support the payroll process by accurately inputting and processing employee hours.
- Maintain employee records and ensure compliance with relevant regulations and company policies.
- Assist in other administrative tasks such as scheduling meetings, ordering office supplies, and other adhoc tasks.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in an administration/payroll-related role.
- Solid understanding of basic accounting principles and practices.
- Proficiency in Xero accounting software and Microsoft 365 (Excel, Word, Outlook).
- Excellent attention to detail, accuracy and maintain confidentiality.
- Strong organisational and time management skills.
- Ability to prioritise tasks and meet deadlines.
- Effective communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
