Accounts Assistant

Full Time – 38 hours per week

XRF Scientific is a global supplier of high-quality sample preparation chemicals and equipment. A new opportunity exists for an experienced Accounts Assistant to join the team at our Head Office in Osborne Park.

Reporting to the CFO and Group Accountant, tasks will include:

• Accounts receivable
• Accounts payable
• Bank reconciliations (including foreign currency accounts)
• Credit card reconciliations
• Intercompany reconciliations
• Invoicing – domestic & international sales
• Monitoring stock in transit
• Submission of fortnightly timesheets into ADP payroll
• Assisting the Group Accountant with end of month tasks
• Assisting the Group Accountant & CFO during company reporting periods & audits
• Provide administrative support

Successful applicants will have the following skills:

• Minimum 3 years’ experience in a similar role
• Certificate IV in Accounting & Bookkeeping (or higher)
• A good understanding of basic accounting principles + Australian GST
• Good communication skills & team oriented
• Ability to work independently
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams & SharePoint)
• Pronto experience will be highly regarded
• Previous experience in a manufacturing environment will be highly regarded

Remuneration will be negotiated based on your qualifications and experience.

The successful applicant will be subject to a national police clearance, and a 3-month probation period.
