A great opportunity for an experienced and highly organised Accounts Assistant with background from the private / commercial sector to become an integral part of a reputable government department and join their friendly and collaborative team.Flexible work arrangements with 3 days in their our office in Norwest and 2 days from working from home.Xero & MYOB experience is essential however the successful candidate will also:
- Have a minimum 2-3 years bookkeeping experience
- Demonstrate advanced Xero & MYOB knowledge
- Have a positive attitude and great customer service skills
- Be proficient in all aspects of Payroll including EOFY reconciliations
- Have excellent English verbal and written communication skills
- Payroll (Super, PAYG, IAS ,Payroll Tax )
- Accounts Payable & Receivable
- Bank Rec of all AP and AR
- Follow up of outstanding invoices (email and calls)
- BAS statement prep and lodgement
- Monthly Balance Sheet rec
- EOM and ad hoc Management Accounts
- preparing and liaising with our tax accounting
- Continuing to build and refine our bookkeeping processes
- Monthly forecasting
