About the Opportunity
Due to consistent growth across our business, we now have a great opportunity available for an experienced Accounts Assistant to join our team, located in North Coogee WA 6163.
Your responsibilities in this role will include;
- Matching documentation and performing data entry of supplier invoices and credit notes.
- Receipting goods into the ERP system.
- Processing Creditor payments.
- Performing Customer Credit Reference Checks.
- Invoicing Distribution Sales.
- Creating, monitoring, invoicing jobs using a Job Costing System.
- Project Support, including coordination of progress claims and variations..
Required Skills
- Experience in a construction environment, preferably within the resource, energy or industrial sectors.
- Experience in the use of Micronet or similar ERP software that involves job costing.
- High level of proficiency with Microsoft programs, including spreadsheet development and management, data entry and word processing.
- Sound knowledge of Accounts Payable/Receivable Procedures.
- Exceptional work ethic with a focus on team work and delivering outcomes with the ability to work independently under limited guidance.
- Excellent communication skills, verbal and written.
- Have an innate eye for detail and great keyboard skills.
- Ability to juggle multiple priorities and quickly change focus as required.
- Flexible, punctual and reliable.
Candidate Requirements
- Drivers Licence
- 3 years experience in a similar roll within Workshops, Construction or Engineering companies
- Essential
- Cert III in Business
- Desirable
- Certificate IV in Accounting.
