Programmed’s Facility Management department are currently seeking an Accounts Assistant to join our Contract Financial Services team. This is an excellent opportunity to be a part of a high performing team that is responsible for data entry, processing and coding invoices, processing and matching purchase orders to invoices, preparing payment batches and reconciling statements. This is an excellent opportunity for the right candidate.

Key Responsibilities
- Timely and accurate processing of all vendor payments
- Effective management of vendor accounts
- Maintenance of accounts payable reconciliations including reconciling statements
- Processing and coding invoices
- Preparing payment batches
- Stores and files information in a timely manner and readily retrievable when required with the security of confidential or sensitive material assured.
- Liaising with vendors in relation to invoicing errors and assisting in their understanding of the schedule of rates and contract requirements
- Communicating with the business and staff regarding any payment or invoicing issues
- Identifying gaps in existing process and recommending improvements
- Ensuring that all business activity is consistent with company standards, policy, procedure and legislative requirements.
About you
To be successful in this role, you will have previous experience with accounts payable as well as excellent communication and Microsoft office skills. Additionally, you will demonstrate and possess the following:
