AddressOur client is an Australian owned high end fashion retailer with their head office loacted in Melbournes Inner Suburbs. They are seeking and experienced Accounts Assistant to join their high performing and collaborative finance team to support them on initial 2 month contract with very strong likelihood to be exteneded beyong this and also to be made permanent.
Key responsibilities:
- Complete daily bank reconciliations
- Assist with Accounts Payable & Receivable
- Record all invoices on a daily basis
- Complete supplier payment runs
- Process monthly direct debit
- Generate monthly statements
- Management of relationships with customers
- Receipt and allocate customer payments
- Follow up overdue / outstanding accounts
- Assist in the preparation of month end reporting
- Posting journals and accruals
- Preparation of key financial statements
- Relevant reporting duties
- Work with finance team to identify and implement business process improvement
- Provide support to the finance team where required
What we are looking for:
- 3 + years of experience in a Accounts Assistant
- Working knowledge of AP21 or other similar ERP systems
- Ability to prioritise and manage competing priorities effectively
- Can do attitude and exceptional communication skills
