AddressOur client is a national ASX listed Healthcare organisation with their head office loacted in Melbournes Inner Suburbs. They are seeking and experienced Assistant Accountant to join their high performing and collaborative finance team on an initial 3 month contract with strong likelihood to be extended beyond this.
Key responsibilities:
- Month End accruals
- Bank matching
- Fixed Asset shell creation
- Balance sheet reconciliation assistant
- Year end BAS FBT lodgement and monthly accounting
- Intercompany accounting
- Preparation of various balance sheet reconciliations
- Assisting in preparation of budgets and forecasts as required
- Various monthly reporting tasks
- Assistance with year-end financial statement processes and audits
- Ad hoc tasks and projects
What we are looking for:
- 5 + years of experience in a Assistant Accountant role
- Studying towards CPA/CA qualification - Essential
- Working knowledge of Netsuite or other similar large ERP systems
- Ability to prioritise and manage competing priorities effectively
- Can do attitude and exceptional communication skills
