About the role
With our business continuing to develop and grow, Delta Panels is looking for a Full-time Accounts Assistant to join our office team to assist with meeting demand. This role is available for an immediate start.
Tasks & responsibilities
- Credit card and bank account reconciliation
- Process invoices
- Maintain historical records
- Month-to-end duties
- Assist with stock control and stock takes
- Prepare analysis of accounts and produce monthly reports
- Assist with the improvement of the payment process
- Manage accounting responsibilities to meet deadlines
- Provide support to the Accounts team
- Keep track of all payments and expenditures – purchase orders, invoices, statements, etc.
- Complete specific tasks allocated by Group Financial Manager
- Collaborate effectively with the team to ensure goals are achieved
- Provide a friendly customer-oriented service when dealing with telephone inquiries and in-person encounters with customers
Qualifications & experience
- Basic accounting knowledge
- Experience in Accounts Receivable
- Experience with MYOB is an advantage but not essential
- Fine attention to detail
- High level of computer skills and Microsoft office software experience
- Ability to work under limited supervision and meet data entry deadlines
