Position summary:

ECCO Pacific is seeking an Accounts Assistant to join our team with an amazing opportunity for a talented and passionate individual to join our Finance Team in our Support Centre at Norwest Business Park! Reporting to the Senior Financial Accountant, this full-time role will be integral in ensuring the success of our Payables and Receivables.

Responsibilities will include, but not limited to:

• End-to-end Accounts payable function
• Support to the Assistant Accountant for Accounts receivable function and creating purchase orders
• Weekly payment run
• Corporate Cards & employee expense claims
• Clearing payments & bank clearing accounts
• Preparing & distributing monthly customer account statements
• Following up overdue accounts
• Account reconciliations
• General Office administration support

Skills that will help you in this role:

• Prior experience in a similar role is desirable
• SAP experience or similar is preferred
• MS office / excel. Intermediate to advance
• Proficient data entry skills
• Attention to detail
• Ability to multitask and prioritize, efficient time management
• High level verbal and written communication skills
