Accounts Assistant - Kogarah location

Our clientHigh growth services business based in Kogarah. They boast an excellent, progressive, and inclusive culture - with a massive focus on workplace culture. They're aiming to achieve 50% growth over the next 2-3 years with will potentially result in an added 3 sevnior accountant roles to their team, meaning there is great potential here for someone looking to progress their career.

You will be an up-and-coming accounts clerk or assistant accountant, keen to make their mark in a high growth organisation. You will either be part way through your CPA/CA or have the intention to commence in the near future.

The role

Reporting into the finance manager this role will fulfill the below,

• Collecting accounts receivables by contacting clients via telephone, email, mail, etc.
• Posting customer payments into the billing system.
• Daily banking and bank reconciliation.
• Liaising with staff and clients in regard to invoice and payment status.
• Preparing reports and following up on aged debtors.
• Performing account reconciliations.
• Maintaining accounts receivable files and records.
• Investigating and resolving any account discrepancies, irregularities or enquiries.
• Managing databases and ensuring billing system are up to date.
• Collaborating with teams to work on various accounting projects.
• Assisting with month end closing and reporting.
• Assisting in general financial management and analysis

About you

• Outstanding communication, both written and verbal
• Degree qualified and willingness to commence CA/CPA in the near future
• Able to drive, with a car
