ABOUT THE ROLE
This is an outstanding opportunity for a detailed oriented and outgoing Assistant Accountant to be based in our Hornsby office with an immediate start if available. You will work closely with the Financial Accountant as a key team member to support our Finance Team in day-to-day business operations. The ideal candidate is eager to learn with a can-do attitude.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE, BUT NOT LIMITED TO
- Data entry (Excel & MYOB)
- Preparation and processing of invoices (training will be provided)
- Assistance with Accounts Receivable
- Assistance with month end processes
- General admin duties, assist in day-to-day running of the office
SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
Prior work experience is preferred but not essential
- Attitude! We are looking for someone with a can-do attitude and eager to learn
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
- Strong attention to detail
- Time management skills
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Knowledge of MYOB would be great but not essential
- Intermediate computer skills (MS Excel)
- Well-developed time management skills
