The Role
As an Accounts Manager in the audio visual integration industry, you will play a pivotal role in managing and optimising our financial processes. You will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of financial accounting, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and efficiency in our financial operations. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in finance, a keen eye for detail, and the ability to work collaboratively across departments.
Responsibilities
Financial Reporting:
- Prepare and analyse financial reports, statements, and projections for senior management.
- Ensure timely and accurate month-end and year-end close processes.
Budget Management:
- Collaborate with department heads to develop and monitor budgets, providing insights into financial variances.
- Identify opportunities for cost optimization and efficiency improvements.
Accounts Payable and Receivable:
- Manage the accounts payable and receivable functions, ensuring timely and accurate processing of invoices and payments.
- Work closely with vendors and clients to resolve any financial discrepancies.
Cash Flow Management:
- Monitor and forecast cash flow, identifying potential risks and proposing solutions.
- Optimize working capital and liquidity to support business operations.
Financial Compliance:
- Ensure compliance with relevant financial regulations and standards.
- Coordinate with external auditors during audits and reviews.
Financial Analysis:
- Conduct financial analysis to support strategic decision-making.
- Provide insights and recommendations based on financial performance metrics.
Cross-Functional Collaboration:
- Collaborate with various departments, including sales, operations, and project management, to gather financial data and support business objectives.
- Communicate financial information effectively to non-finance stakeholders.
Skills & Requirements
- Proven experience 5 years in financial management, preferably within the Audio Visual Integrator industry or a related field.
- Strong understanding of accounting principles, financial regulations, and reporting standards.
- Proficient in financial analysis, budgeting, and forecasting.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Advanced proficiency in Xero accounting software and Microsoft Excel (Required)
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
