The successful applicant will have previous experience in a similar role, including accounts receivable and accounts payable processes, computerized systems including MYOB ADVANCED and a demonstrated understanding of bookkeeping principles. They will possess the ability to work in a team environment but also work independently with highly developed verbal and written communication skills, as well as being customer focused.
Duties may include but are not limited to:-
Providing friendly and cooperative assistance to all visitors and callers
Accounts Receivable
Accounts Payable
Reconciling Creditor accounts at month end
Daily Bank Reconciliations
Receipting Purchase Orders
Providing quarterly reports for external Accountant
Office Administration
The successful candidate will have:-
An excellent understanding of accounts and bookkeeping
An enthusiastic and driven attitude with a willingness to learn new skills.
Excellent communication skills
Self motivated.
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
Have great time management skills and the ability to juggle multiple tasks.
Experience in Microsoft Office products.
Experience in MYOB ADVANCED preferred.
The ability to analyse systems and processes and to implement changes to streamline efficiencies will be highly regarded.
