About the role
We are looking for someone to join our Operations Team. This role is responsible for ensuring all billing is completed accurately and customer invoicing enquiries are responded to in a timely manner.
You will thrive in a fast-paced environment, be able to multi-task and have an innate customer-first approach, whilst being savvy with technology.
Core responsibilities include
Billing/Accounts
- Making adjustments to services and invoices, as per direction from the relevant business department, when required
- Handle all invoicing queries from both internal and external stakeholders
- Produce regular aging reports
- Chase up customers for outstanding payments
- Ensure all customer invoices are accurately processed in a timely manner
- Accurately maintain customer accounts data
- Provide statements of account to customers when required
- Provide assistance to the Accounts Receivable team as required
- Managing the food order processing
- Forensic accounting – looking through historical records to clear up reconciliation issues as required
Stakeholder Management
- Participate in team discussion and contribute to a positive team environment.
- Escalation of issues requiring attention to senior management for resolution.
- Maintain strong relationships with Customers, Business units and the Finance team
Continuous Improvement
- Work to continually improve organisational systems and processes to maximise efficiency, effectiveness, and productivity to deliver quality outcomes
- Actively contribute to this process of continual improvement by always seeking better ways to support and assist colleagues and customer
To be successful in this role you will need to have
- Intermediate to advanced knowledge of Excel
- Ability to adapt to a changing environment
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- The ability to use multiple technology platforms and systems
- High degree of self-motivation
- Strong knowledge of the Microsoft Office suite of programs
- Strong time management and organisational skills
- Ability to juggle multiple tasks and problem solve.
- A strong sense of accountability, taking ownership for actions and achieving desired results.
