Our clients are a large organisation with multiple offices - this role is at their head office, based in South-West Brisbane. Due to a high increase in clients as of late, they are looking for an Accounts Officer for an immediate start. This national organisation is a leader in their field and offers a stable working environment, flexible working hours and excellent career growth opportunities.
Your new role
Reporting to the Financial Controller, you will be a key team player in the accounts team. A position for someone who:
- Enjoys a fast-paced role
- It is detailed and has strong time management.
- Can make financial adjustments.
- Can process and complete monthly and year-end financial statements
- Can process and complete management reports, including balance sheets.
- Has confident communication skills.
What you'll need to succeed
As an experienced Accounts Admin, you will also have experience with:
- Financial reporting
- Client levy/debt recovery
- External legal liaison
- Owner ledger enquiries
- Data entry & GST calculations & recording.
- Opening balance and building year-end processing
- Software experience-Microsoft Office and Excel.
