The Role:
We are seeking a dedicated Accounts Officer to join our Finance team. In this role, you will be responsible for managing and recording financial statements, processing accounts payable / receivable and contributing to month-end processes.
In this role your key responsibilities will include:
• Assisting in invoice processing, tracking payments and managing accounts payable,
• Reconciling bank statements and investigating or resolving any discrepancies,
• Managing corporate credit card expense reconciliations,
• Processing and managing disbursements in a timely and efficient manner,
• Assisting with monthly billing activities,
• Responding to internal and external finance queries; and
• Assisting the Finance team in any ad hoc duties, including but not limited to accounts payable, billing and matter administration.
What You Offer:
As the ideal candidate, you will have previous experience working in an Accounts Officer / Accounts Receivable role, as well as a strong understanding of basic accounting principles. You will have exceptional organisational skills, attention to detail and the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines. Experience working in the legal or professional services industry is highly regarded.
