An exciting new opportunity for an Accounts Officer has become available within our dynamic and skilled Finance Team
We are looking for an Accounts Officer who is committed and enthusiastic.
About the Role:
Reporting to the Head of Finance, this role will be assisting the accounts team to perform day-to-day accounting tasks including month end journals and preparation of monthly reports.
Key areas of responsibility include but not limited to:
- Ensuring correct allocation of costs to GL and cost centres
- Management of accounts receivable
- Management of NDIS billing, claims, reconciliations, and plan management
- Timely completion of monthly bank reconciliation
- Assist with monthly journal posting, GL reconciliation
- Assist with EOFY audit preparation
- Assist with accounts payable
- Involvement in projects and ad hoc duties as required or as directed by the Head of Finance
About You
To be successful in this position you will need:
- Australian tertiary or vocational qualifications: University degree or TAFE qualification in Finance/Accounting/Commerce.
- Experience with MYOB or XERO software
- At least 1-2 years’ relevant hands-on experience accounts experience
In addition you will need to:
- Possess permanent or temporary Australian Work Rights, with the capacity to work full time
- Reside in the Sydney region.
