The role is responsible for ensuring the consistent application, development, and periodic maintenance of approved materials, staff, policies, forms and quality management system tools across both the scope of registration of the Registered Training Organisation (RTO) and other associated delivery of training services.Key accountabilities
- Support and contribute to ensuring the processes and relevant resources are in line with the applicable VET quality framework standards and State operating guidelines, as identified by the Transport Agency’s Learning and Development division.
- Contribute to the RTO's compliance with the VET quality framework and relevant Federal or State governing contracts in which the RTO utilises.
- Develop, manage and monitor the relevant compliance artefacts to ensure they are current with all relevant regulatory, industry and or contractual requirements.
- Develop and maintain an overall risk management framework focused on the provision of compliance across L&D.
- Conduct and or distribute business-wide communications relating to compliance, quality, standards, changes and continuous improvement initiatives or opportunities.
- Collect, review, analyse and report on statistical information, including but not limited to student, trainer, employee feedback and any relevant data as required by the RTO.
- Undertake the following activities to ensure adherence to relevant regulatory standards:
o Annual course reviews;
o Assessment validation; and o Marketing reviews (website and social media).
- Update and manage the continuous improvement register and ensure all changes are properly documented, implemented and validated, including providing the effective communication of changes across staff impacted.
- Balancing compliance, quality, regulatory and legislative requirements with strategic and operational needs by ensuring the development of quality tools, forms and templates to ensure efficient and high[1]quality outcomes are achieved.
- Maintaining a thorough working knowledge of the State, Federal and relevant regulatory requirements and standards (such as VET) and ongoing updates are made to ensure a sustainable, efficient and effective process that leverages fit for purpose tools, systems and application.
- Knowledge and understanding in the application of state funding contracts (Smart and Skilled),
- Expereince in leading assessment validation activities.
