Over the past 35 years, Synapse - Australia's Brain Injury Organisation, has grown to employ around 160 people. We provide a range of services nationally, including information and referral, specialist supports, National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS) services, advocacy, housing and targeted research activities. About the Role:Synapse is currently seeking a highly motivated Accounts Payable Officer to join our team. You will be joiinig us during an exciting period as we transition to an automated Accounts Payable system where you will be responsible for providing timely and efficient processing of financial transactions related to accounts payable. The Accounts Payable Officer is instrumental in maintaining positive relationships with staeholders both internal and external.
Please note: This role is a permanent role offering part-time hours 60.8 hours per fortnight. The hours are flexible and can be spread over 5 days.

Essential- Minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar role
- Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate effectively with a variety of internal and external stakeholders
- Experience with the MS Office suite, with intermediate skills in Excel.
- Ability to work independently as well as working as part of a team
- Excellent time management skills and the ability to prioritise tasks to meet deadlines
- High attention to detail and problem-solving skills
- Proven track record of using electronic accounts payable software
- Knowledge of accounting process, including reconciliations
