The Finance Officer (Accounts Payable) will play a vital role in accurately and efficiently managing and processing the school's Accounts Payable transactions. Reporting to the College Accountant, this full-time, continuing position requires working from Monday to Friday, 8:00 am to 4:06 pm.
About the role
As an integral part of our finance team, the Finance Officer (Accounts Payable) will be responsible for a range of tasks, including but not limited to:
- Oversee all aspects of the Accounts Payable process, ensuring timely and accurate payments to vendors.
- Review and process invoices, verifying accuracy and compliance with company policies.
- Communicate effectively with vendors to resolve payment issues and discrepancies.
- Perform regular account reconciliations to ensure all transactions are recorded accurately.
- Assist in managing employee expense reports, ensuring adherence to company guidelines.
- Prepare and maintain financial reports, providing insights into the Accounts Payable performance.

You will need to have:
- Exceptional accuracy in handling financial data and transactions.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills for effective interaction with internal and external stakeholders.
- Ability to identify and resolve discrepancies promptly and efficiently.
- Relevant qualifications and experience as detailed in the Position Description.
